What's new and improved in Aeon

Introduced the ability to generate formal correspondence directly from published Chart Notes. Practitioners can now create professional letter PDFs complete with clinic letterhead, patient demographics, practitioner signature, and clinical appendices — all sourced automatically from the note content and embedded clinical data. Letters support a preview workflow before finalizing, and can be downloaded or faxed directly from the chart. This eliminates the need for separate word processing tools and ensures letters remain linked to the clinical record for audit and continuity.

Introduced enhancements to eForm workflows to reduce duplicate data entry and streamline referral preparation. Update includes improved access to required referral forms within patient charts and automatic pre-filling of patient demographic information from the EMR. These changes are designed to reduce administrative burden and improve consistency when completing requisition forms for labs, screenings, and other outside services.

Users can now see unbilled appointments in the Aeon Billing workflow. Update includes a new view in Billing showing Patient, Appointment Time and Date, Practitioner, Chart Note Status, and quick access links to billing details, chart note creation, and file attachment.
